Question: do u maybe get a little sad when u find out that so many young children under two die from it and they couldn't be saved , if not why.

  Yes I do find it really sad. I’m actually going to a conference in the summer to meet some children with SMA and their families, and I get the feeling I’ll be really sad by the end of it!
  This gives me the motivation to work harder though, because I want to minimise the number of children who suffer!
