      Hey, I’m sure you’ll be surprised to learn that electricity comes from magnets. In 1800s it was Michael Faraday that discovered that if you move a magnet through a loop of wire, the wire will become electrified. Now, that’s cool! Electricity can be made by a number of different ways. Most of the different ways have to do with how we provide the power to spin the magnets. That power can come from coal, the wind, or water (in the form of water-mills).
