• Question: im not sure what i want to do as a career yet but i am taking double maths and physics for a level along with english literature and geography...what interesting jobs go well with these subjects?

      Wow, not really sure I’m qualified to answer that. Have you had a look at the UCAS website, they show all of the different university courses that are available, have a look at which ones interest you the most.

      Also think about taking a gap year if that’s what you want to have a think about what interests you most.

      Scientific journalism? Geology?
      I wouldn’t start thinking of a specific job yet – unless you don’t want to go to university. But then the question is “Why double maths and physics for A-level?”
      Wait until you’ve had more study experience before really thinking about specific jobs – try and understand what it is that you like doing most.

      Wow! You could go in loads of directions with that! Don’t feel that you have to combine all of them in one career – I did subjects at school that are nothing to do with my current job (like music!).
      You could go into engineering, geology, geophysics, science journalism, actuarial science… the list is endless! Have a look at the UCAS website for ideas on what kind of degree you could do – you’ll probably find some that you’ve never heard of that might grab your interest!
