• Question: To become a marine biologist what A-levels would be required and would I need to take maths?

      Hi

      Having just had a scan at two universities that both do marine biology their entry requirements are:

      The A-level requirement is set at AAB (for one Uni) ABB (for the other) or equivalent grades, to include A in Biology and any two from science subjects Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Geography, Geology, Maths and Physics.)

      So you don’t need to do maths if you’ve got one of the others

      I think Alex got it all there.
      Maths though is never a bad idea as it’s used a lot in many scientific subjects.
