• Question: As you want to be an astronaut for the day, why did you not go into astrophysics?

      Very smart question! At the time of applying to different Universities, I was (and still am though) excited about DNA and I wanted to learn more about it and about the molecular mechanisms on how the cells work etc. So, my obvious choice was molecular biology. Then I became quite interested in astrophysics, so it is one of my interests today. Now, I want to be an astronaut for a day just to see our world from a different point of view! Til then though I’ll just look at all the photos of our Earth and the outer space from NASA.
