I love Nandos! Although I can’t eat super spicy food, so I have to go for the really mild sauce!

I’ve never been to Nandos, I really should because I always hear good things about it! What’s the best thing on the menu?

We don’t have Nandos in Italy and I don’t really know what it is so I can honestly say. However, I suspect it’s one of those commercial gimmicks that has little or no real authenticity to it and probably isn’t even particularly healthy. I also suspect it’s spelt Nando’s and that Nando is supposed to be Italian.
This reminds me of a review presentation I made at conference in America a few years ago. Since I was trying to convince people that much of what was being presented wasn’t really what they thought it was, put up on the screen the list of ingredients ‘d found on the self-proclaimed “Italian dressing” for salads on the flight over. It was a long, long list with all sort of strange spices, in short something that no Italian would even deign to sniff at – 99.9% of Italians use olive oil, salt, and maybe vinegar or lemon juice.
Of course, if it’s Spanish or Mexican, I’ve just made a fool of myself.
