Question: How do you know what medicines to look for?

There are two ways of doing it – one is to have a disease you’re interested in and then try loads of drugs and see which one happens to work.

Or the more preferred option nowadays is to look at what it is chemically that goes wrong in a body and then design a drug specifically to help.
