• Question: How do you think the Universe started? I think that it was just a big planet, and it just disbanded into our universe.

      Big bang, like everyone else.
      Disbanded? Where did you get a word like that from?
      Sorry to be so blunt, but in science you can’t just say things like “I think that …” or else I can just say “I think the Earth is flat”, “I think Alpha Centauri is inhabited by pink elephants”, … so what?
      You can say that to yourself and then try to prove it, when you have a good enough proof you an tell everyone, but not before.

      I think it was the Big Bang. Although I have to admit, whenever I think about the ‘start of the universe’ my head starts to spin because I can’t even begin to comprehend the vastness of the universe!
