• Question: In the future will we be able to fly to other planets to live?

      Living on other planets is really difficult, we’d have to build special places where we could have oxygen etc, but it’d be very hard and really expensive. So maybe possible, but not very realistic. It’d be amazing though!!

      I agree with Alex – not very realistic, but possible! I think people would be more likely to attempt this just to see if they can.

      Yes, we probably already could, but …. !

      But would we want to?
      Living on Mars would be like going to prison: it’s a very very hostile planet – like all others we know. Indeed, it’s hard to imagine that Earth could become such a desperate place that we’d prefer another planet.

      Plus we wouldn’t be able to get back again unless we’d got really advanced there,

      If you’re thinking of other solar systems – maybe in millions of years time when our Sun starts to grow cold. But it would take an enormous amount of time to get anyway and it’s hard to imagine how we could survive such a journey – maybe in hibernation.
