We are all scientists here and you are talking directly with us. Exciting, isn’t it 🙂
I never planed to become one. I just liked science at school and wanted to study more at University. Then, while I was at the University I had a taste of what research is like. And it was cool! Doing experiments and finding something that no one knew before. Before I know it, here I am doing science 🙂 !

I knew I wanted to be a scientist since I was 7. Originally I wanted to be a forensic scientist, so someone who uses science to solve crimes. When I started university my best friend died of cancer, and I also started studying it and found it fascinating so specialised in cancer instead.

Discovering new things that no one else knows is pretty exciting! But also because the disease I research affects young children, so I want to help them as much as possible.
