• Question: What is the greatest discovery any of you have ever made?

      I worked as a team that made a virus that only kills cancer cells and leaves normal ones alone. More research is being done to make sure it’s extra safe.

      It only works in some cancers though but could be really good in those. So maybe in a few years it’ll be used to treat some patients.

      Well, I don’t really make what you would normally call “great” discoveries. I did find out that quarks, the particles that make up a proton and a neutron, actually wiz around each other a bit like super fast planets around the Sun when everyone thought they were pretty much stationary. But that’s not what you’d call “great”. I was pretty happy with it though.
