      Part of evolution is that feet have evolved because they’re a benefit to the animals that have them. In our case they allow us to walk, and run. The toes then help us balance.

      What is the point in hands?
      You couldn’t walk very well without them.
      And before you ask “What’s the point in walking?”, think about how you’d get food if you couldn’t.

      So we can walk! If we just had stumps at the end of our legs we would find it really hard to balance!
