• Question: What is your theory on how the universe was created - is it the big bang theory or is it a religious theory?

      I’d stick with the Big Bang Theory – as to what caused that I guess there are then arguments behind religious theory. Makes my head hurt even thinking about it. But from my perspective the Big Bang started it all.

      As I think I already said somewhere, I’m an atheist and so do not believe in any sort of superior being that created the universe.
      The Big Bang is not just a theory, we have lots of experimental evidence to suggest that that was a real event in our history. Of course, what went on before is a mystery, but then since time too maybe starts with the Big Bang, “before” might be meaningless concept.

      I am absolutely 100% behind the big bang theory. I don’t know what was before that, but if it was created by a god… then who created the god? Arg! Too confusing the think about!
