      Hi, yes it is fun! Thanks for your question 🙂 Normal microscopes aren’t powerful enough for us to see atoms because we can’t see anything smaller than the wavelength of light (about a quarter of a millimeter). We have to use electrons instead because they have a much smaller wavelength and allows us to see much smaller things, such as individual atoms!
