• Question: What universities would you recommend for physics degrees?

      Instead of us saying which we think is good (as we’re really not the right people to answer it). I’d have a look on the UCAS website, have a read around about Physics degrees, have a look at different league tables and go and visit the ones you’re interested in. That way you’ll know where is best suited to you!

      Cambridge and Oxford of course, but you do have to be very bright to get in.
      Durham runs a good second to them.
      After that Imperial College (London) has an excellent reputation and so to has Southampton as I remember.
      But you should look at the prospectuses and decide for yourself – you should also look at all the other aspects – being a student isn’t just about classes and homework.
