• Question: Whilst at school did you think you would be doing what you are doing now?

      Yes, although of course I couldn’t imagine all the details. I knew though that I wanted to be a university professor of physics.

      No, I didn’t imagine I would be doing this when I was in school. That goes for everything in life though, you never know what’s going to happen in the future despite your best plans!
      My contract stops next year, so I don’t know what job I’ll be doing in 2 years from now either.

      I wanted to go into forensic science originally so someone who uses science to solve crimes. But my best friend died of cancer when I was 18 and I changed to cancer research.
