• Question: why do we fart?

      Because part of the digestive process produces gas (say like the exhaust of a car) and there’s essentially only one way for it to get out.

      What Philip said! Also, when we’re eating we actually swallow a lot of air! So if we don’t burp it out, it’ll work its way through our digestive system and come out the other end!
