Question: Why do you want to improve phone memory, how will it help the world?

Hello, thanks for your question! I’m looking at materials that will help to improve a wide range of technologies, not just phone memory. In the last few decades, we have come a really long way in terms of technology and now you can hold a huge amount of information in the palm of your hand – a few decades ago you would’ve needed a very large room!
It will help the world because every year a massive amount of data is created across the globe, which doubles every year (insane!). We need to come up with new technologies to cope with this in the future. My work involves studying materials that can be used to solve this problem.
